IO MUSIC ACADEMY
January-September 2023. Finally jumping more fully into a long-feared course of study: music producing. My hope is to come out of IO Music Academy with more technical confidence to create pieces on my own and gain a better ability to co-create with other producers and musicians. These Kids
New single was released June 7, 2019. “These Kids” was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Rob Kleiner. Composing for USC
Composed the music for the University of Southern California MFA Year 3 Acting Rep’s production of Swimmers by Rachel Bonds. Directed by David Warshofsky. The play ran from February 9-March 3, 2019. dramaticarts.usc.edu/swimmers
Spoken Word at improbable
Opened Hanna-Lee Sakakibara’s show Improbable in December 2018. I debuted three spoken word pieces, mostly on the topics of race, queerness, identity, and death. An honor to collaborate with the brilliant Hanna-Lee.
Superstore & Unbelievable
After a long time away from pursuing acting, I dipped my toes back in and worked on NBC’s Superstore and Netflix’s Unbelievable in the Fall of 2018. My expression in this wardrobe photo pretty much encompasses how I felt about it. Grateful for new experiences, new lessons, new residuals. And now back to my indefinite hiatus.
RECIPROCITY
Forever thankful to Asylum Arts + American Jewish University’s Institute for Jewish Creativity for having me as an attendee of their Reciprocity Artist Retreat in November 2017. True friends were made. Jewish identities were explored and celebrated.
